This speculative commercial, which I created and directed through the Arab Film Studio and Creative Media Authority, takes a bold and playful approach to addressing food waste. It showcases an action movie style mission featuring fruits and vegetables in a humorous showdown.
It highlights the absurdity of discarding perfectly good food but also serves as a powerful metaphor for society’s broader food waste crisis. By transforming a serious issue into an entertaining confrontation, the film encourages viewers to rethink their consumption habits and appreciate the value of food. Notably, the production utilized recycled produce destined for disposal, ensuring that no fruits or vegetables were harmed in the making of this thought-provoking piece.
